My Photographic Review of 2015

I have just completed a short video of some of my favourite shots that I took through 2015. There are a couple from each month.

This was an extremely useful exercise as it allowed me to look back over what I had produced. With digital images unless they are printed then they tend so sit in and amongst all of the many files on your devices hard drive and can quickly be forgotten about.

I would strongly encourage everyone to go through this process, even if you just produce one slide in Powerpoint which shows your best image for each month it will help to justify all of those cold days on a beach, or all of those early morning rises and most of all, encourage you to do it all again in 2016!!!

If you do produce a video, or image of your best shots then please post it on here I would love to see them.

Portrait Masterclass

As I embark on a new venture to publicise, and increase the portrait photography I do this YouTube video provided me with some masterful inspiration.

Gregory Heisler's lecture is both extremely interesting and delivered in a really engaging way. I especially liked the tale regarding the shoot with Tommy Lee Jones (1hr 16mins)

Now, where and how do I book the observation deck of the rockafeller building NYC?

Join Gregory Heisler as he lovingly details the lore behind selected images from his professional career and the newly-published book, "Gregory Heisler: 50 Portraits: Stories and Techniques from a Photographer's Photographer."
