Nikon 24/70 f2.8 - Friday Frollics on a Sunflower

It has been an absolute age since I have posted anything on this blog.

Apart from a few special occasions I have been finding it quite hard to find the time to get any meaningful photography done. So much for my promise earlier in the year, having a blog was supposed to ensure I shot more and more.

In my defence we have just moved house, big enough distraction I think.

Anyway now that we are starting to get settled I was looking for any reason to get out and shoot. One massive big Sunflower that we planted earlier in the year (and moved with us) was a decent enough subject. And provided further proof why the 24/70 2.8 is incredible.

Flora really isn't my thing normally but I thought it was worth posting these just to prove that I am still alive…

So that is what they look like close up...

Don't sunflowers look cool in B&W??
