Liverpool Photowalk - B&W with a splattering of colour

I finally managed to get out and about today. I have been trying all week but for one reason or another things have just got in the way.

Anyway I decided that Liverpool was close enough and offered quite a few places to try and take some decent images with my new lens. I set out with the goal of getting some images of Mann Island, primarily trying to think in black and white, and ensure that the composition of the images was correct, and where possible ensure that there were leading lines directing the viewers eye into the image.

It was quite a tough day to try and ensure that the images were as sharp as can be, due to the crazy gusts of wind. I managed to get a few though that I am happy with.

I also learnt today that you need a permit to take photographs of Liverpool One (who knew). Thankfully I managed to get a few shots of the escalator before getting asked to move on.
